| Sandstorm in the distance, coming in. Find a place to hang for the night and hang there. Rather walk around in a dust storm. A dust storm after about 30 seconds is a massive debbie downer. |
Rolling clouds of dust all day blown by a steady wind, the day is ending with zero visibility. Earthy dust is everywhere. Are we reaching a turning point? Last year included the return of the all the previous judgments (water and air), plus the new one (fire).
What comes next? Can you still leave? Don't go there if you haven't yet, you won't know how bad it is until is upon you.

High winds are expected to come through Black Rock City on Tuesday and Wednesday. Expect gusts above 25mph and possibly up to 40mph.
If you’re on the playa, secure your camp’s stuff and be safe. Do not drive if there’s no visibility - stop and wait it out.
