The Hillside extended family

I've named the critters that come to eat every day.

Aside from Tink and Gracey, the two house rescue cats, there is a brace of raccoons called Jack and Jill. They actually knock on the back door (witnessed) when I forget to leave out food. There is Tommy the Opossum. And Muffy. Muffy is a totally feral sweet heart who has decided to move in on an outdoor basis, into the family. She gets fed twice a day, morning and evening. She's a story all by herself. They all are pretty cool stories. Ongoing.

Plus, the usual deer and other visitors who help themselves to my planter boxes when they are really hungry. And that's fine. If you are hungry, please eat.

Grace. Spitting image of her father, Mikey Moo.

The Muffster. Just had her fourth birthday in May and was born wild on the hillside. She has adopted us as parental units.

This is Faith. He has a sister, Hope. These live in the palm trees here. They are the son and daughter of Goldy, who passed on. Watcher, Goldy's spousal unit, moved away after that, leaving the teenagers, who are both now 2 years old.

This small herd of deer come up every night for dinner. And, yesterday, a new arrival...so tiny he's not much bigger than a standard poodle. Frolic, his name, was born last Thursday eve.

Frolic's mom.
