I can't believe I am getting this right in the backyard. See, Baron met Madge last Fall and were married in November - yeah, they marry, have funerals, all that. Then in April, a very pregnant Madge gave birth to the nest, her and Baron built from twigs off the yard and such. This whole thing is awesome.

| Their little beaks don't have the adult curve they will eventually have. Among ravens, there are only TWO genders. Madge, the mother, is bottom left, outside the nest. Baron and Madge are too big, so they reside at this stage, outside, but near enough to touch and Baron and Madge will often cover the nest with their wings. |
