This is a WW2 SS burial in the field.
Buried under a "broken cross," indicating the decedent was a satanist who had undertaken the broken cross ritual - denying Christ, breaking down the arms of a small cross inverted, urinating on the Holy Bible, while intoning the black sacred words of "strike me from the book of life, place me in the book of death" etc etc.
Very often, when there is time, they use a regular tombstone but has some kind of emblematic art work indicating their satanic vows.
The broken cross ritual is for those who took to satanism but not born into it, as is usually the case. Especially if they were former Christians. It's required, including signing one's name in one's own blood, on a unholy piece of parchment. The whole thing is quite vile and disgusting.
