The weekly rains and snow to turn deserts green, fill lakes and reservoirs, and filling DUMBS proceeds apace. They get a big, multi-state storm every single week, mostly. As is California in the last 2 months. The southwest has been getting these rains since July 2022. The desert is literally turning green, as are the hills and mountains. Water tables are rapidly filling to their highest levels since such records started being kept. It's wonderful. I guess folks can water their lawns again; but probably not.
Amazing what lifting a 4,000 year old curse on the place will do.
