Two weeks ago, on Francis' birthday (on sunday december 17, 2023), and a day before the gay couple blessing thing, lightning struck and removed the key, the halo and the blessing hand of the statue of Saint Peter, located on the facade of the Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Rosary of San Nicolas , north of Buenos Aires, Argentina, in pope Francis' former diocese.
There were lightning rods all around. It is clearly a sign of God regarding this pope.
Lightning usually hits the highest object in an area. But this bolt of lightning hit one of the lowest objects on the building, and to precisely take out
just the keys, hand and halo.
