Frozen in Time

Just when you think it cannot possibly get any weirder...DB
Yesterday, as per usual around sunset, lots of birds, deer, squirrels, you name it are out and about the yard. These kind of things are very normal in the mountains. And if you start feeding any of them, you can certainly count on their appearance at some point most days, of a certain.
I was feeding Belinda and her two babies, and as there is now a minor herd developing among the oak trees behind the far shed, more often than not, a few other ladies and a gent show up for some treats – usually old apples, chopped and old carrots. They love corn. So, one of the deer, a doe, a female deer. Starts walking off and then, in mid motion, freezes. No movement, no anything.
This is not unusual for a deer to freeze, listen and observe. They have amazing hearing and they tune into anything that might be a danger or a warning, of any kind. But this was different. In ways impossible to explain, even with me making enough noise and laughter that ordinarly would send them off at a trot at least 50 feet away – very normal reaction to loud sounds or sudden movements – she didn't move. Nor. Turned her head. Nor once closed her eyes, flicked her tail. Nothing
I mean NOTHING.
Then it hits me. This is one of those “glitches” people capture on camera every once in a great while. So, there is a camera right at hand and I snap some pictures. As I'm doing this, three blue jays appear out of nowhere and land on the doe. It doesn't move. They are hopping about on it. One then goes to the butt and begins stabbing it in the tender places. Still nothing. Another goes over to her head, walks all over it, finally pecking at a spot in the corner of her eye. Still nothing.
The jays keep up this barrage and I put that camera down, go to get the cheap nikon to at least video this event. Sad to say, just as I turn it on, the jays were successful, she moved like nothing happened and the jays just VANISHED.
Vanished.
Wow....
Here you go. This is all I could get of the thing. Take it for what it's worth.
Of course, I asked Dad what did I just see? What He told me, I simply cannot repeat because I truly doubt in my heart, anyone would believe it. I witnessed, got some snaps, but even now, the next morning...I'm still WOW...
Whatever.

Blue Jays walking on Miss Frozen Doe. |
Snap back, dear. Snap back. |
Alright, I'll tell you. Observe the bottom picture. One jay is inserting its beak into a place on the spine, where the tail connects to the body. The other jay, is doing the same, to a key point at the corner of the eye, attempting to create an electrical connection which will snap the "soul body" of the deer, back into this time. For, it stepped out - what people experiencing, known as Time Slips. If they had not been sent by Dad to do this deed - being angels in bird form - Miss Doe would have simply winked out of existence. As many do, historically. By shocking her body in this way, she could be restored and her place and fate in the world, would continue as it was and still is, as it happens. I saw her this morning and fed her.
See, what did I tell you?
This leads, of course, to the thinking, reflective soul, many further questions. Or it should. Here's an answer to an unspoken question.
Angels often take bird forms, as a chance at duty on Earth. To do a good, be a thing or a part of something, where birds being about are needed. Like giant circling flocks over a city; one example.
Or a brace of simple ravens, I call my friends.
