Life is a struggle

Life is a teacher, without tuition,
To bring all our gifts in to fruition.
The road can be clear or hidden from view,
The choice will remain, always with you.
The path can be narrow or a difficult maze,
It could take years, or possibly days.
The struggle is long, and not without pain,
You have your soul to lose, or rather, to gain.
