Huge English actor of the 1920s and 30s. Caught this on Prisoner of Zenda. So whom is really carrying the scene? Ronny? Or Beelzebub's fallen? These dynamic actors of Edomite cinema have a magnetism, often demonic spirits, that give them their "star" quality. It's why some get the big movies and others, not so much.
For ages this guy was my favorite old hollywood actor. He always played a decent fellow, decently. He at least had that going for him.
