Remember, where you are now is the sum total of all you've been through. It is part of YOUR creation story. Don
It's August 1976, I'm 17, I'm reading the Bhagavad Gita, the Bible, like that, and still trying to get an understanding of how I can see and know things, others cannot. It was and still is, a lonely walk and way in that respect – and a neighbor – I had my first apartment that same month; those days, living wage anywhere if you were willing to work and rent was $65 a month for a 1 bedroom in Glendale CA – has this album by Rush on his Macintosh quadrophonic system next door. I'm sitting in his living room with his nephew, and they are twisting up doobie wahs. It literally blew my mind and made me aware of things that wouldn't really come to wisdom and understanding, until 30 years later. I spent the next few years wood shedding my guitar with every free moment outside of work to get good enough to play the entire album note for note. I found like minded men who felt and saw, what I felt and saw. By January 1983, I could and formed a band – Glass Mirraj – and we played all over SoCal that year.
Me, a Gibson SG, and a full Marshall stack. My last gig was in July '85 at Madam Wongs. Steel Reign. My rock and roll days were over. Dad insisted. |

It wasn't about Rush's album. It was just another building block of perception, that became a foundation to be later destroyed and replaced by something better and more long lasting.
As these things must be.
Remember, where you are now is the sum total of all you've been through. It is part of YOUR creation story. This was a tiny part of mine. If these words make no sense to you, do not worry. I kept running into that same problem with people back in '76. That has not changed much over the years.
2112 is the story of a young man who bucks the DemonAi computer controlled system that absolutely down to the smallest detail, controls all life on Earth.
Far out.
And in those days, it was. Now, it's the normal everyone sees.
Here is that system speaking to the world. This is his slave life now. And he hates it, mainly for reasons he does not understand. The symbol on the demonAI computer temple is a pentacle in a circle in blood. This was in 1976.
No one save witches, understood any of such things, in those days. And if you pointed out such things, people laughed at you to your face. As they did to mine. If you wanted to have any friends at all, you learned as I did, to shut your damn mouth Don.
Opening song after overture.
And the meek shall inherit the Earth...
We've
taken care of everything, the words you read and
the songs
you sing, the pictures that give pleasure to your eye.
It's one
for all and all for one. We work together, common sons.
Never need
to wonder how or why.
[Riff 2] x4 w/ lyrics:
We
are the priests of the temples of Syrinx.
Our great computers fill
the hallowed halls.
We are the priests of the temples of
Syrinx.
All the gifts of life are held within our walls.
The lyrics go on, in deeper and deeper levels. But in those days, this did not land on too many souls. Only now...nearly 50 years later, can the world see and understand, what a few of us understood in 1976. Certainly Neil Pert, the drummer and lyricist of Rush did.
This was one of those building blocks of my life. You must have yours. For what are you? What path did you choose to become? Just news, weather and sports?
I saw a different thing in the distant horizon, far different. It was and is, a Great Light saying, “follow me.”
I spent the rest of my life following – and finding – that light and whom that Light Was.
It was and is, Christ Yeshua.

Yeah, yeah, yeah.
